The Autumn Equinox is fast approaching and we have some big events coming at the end of the month that we couldn't wait to share with you!
WaterMarkers Being Installed!
Exciting Update...
After 10 years of the WaterMarks program, we have installed four markers in various locations across the city. Now, we are completing the final steps for the installation of 6 more markers.
This could not have been accomplished without the unwavering support of our Neighborhood Project teams and the many community partner organizations.
The markers are located along Greenfield Avenue at Rockwell (M) and the School of Freshwater Science (S) -- as well as neighborhood markers at Melvina Park (C), Lindsay Heights (L) and along the Beer Line (H). There will also be a downtown Marker (W) to celebrate the overall project along Wisconsin Avenue as part of Sculpture Milwaukee!
We will share more updates as we get closer to the final installations, and we hope to be a part of activation events at these locations in the near future! Once the next 6 markers are installed, we will be hosting an Installation Celebration stay tuned for details!
